EC substitute electrode for EC measuring device E60 Pro
You just acquired the EC measuring device E60 Pro from Aqua Master Tools and now want to know how the interchangeable electrode works?
The electrode of the EC measuring device E60 Pro is designed in such a way that it can be easily replaced if it is worn out or its accuracy has been impaired by dirt or damage.
Another important feature of the E60 Pro is that the electrode is waterproof according to IP67 standard . This means that it is protected against water penetrating into the device and can therefore also be used in moist environments or under water.
It is important to note that the lifespan of the electrode depends on the frequency of your use and the type of solution. It is therefore advisable to check, clean and replace the electrode regularly to maintain the accuracy of the EC measuring device E60 Pro.
Instructions for the exchange of the EC electrode
- Solve the electrode by turning the thread of the sealing ring on the lower part of the EC measuring device.
- carefully pull off the defective/old electrode.
- use the new electrode carefully, so that the contact points connect well and neither the measuring device nor the electrode are damaged.
- check whether the rubber seal is well.
- turn the thread on the sealing ring well again.
- calibrate the measuring device according to the instructions in this manual.
- The measuring device is now ready for use.
