The Sonoff  MG24 Dongle Plus (Dongle-PMG24) is a versatile Zigbee and Thread USB adapter that turns your computer, Raspberry Pi, or home server into a powerful smart home hub. Powered by the Silicon Labs EFR32MG24 wireless SoC, it delivers significantly more processing power and memory than previous-generation dongles—with 1536KB of Flash (100% more) and 256KB of RAM (300% more) for faster automation processing and support for larger device networks.

Connect and Control All Your Zigbee Devices

The Sonoff  MG24 Dongle Plus MG24 serves as a Zigbee USB coordinator, allowing you to build a multi-vendor Zigbee network and manage devices locally without relying on cloud services. It works seamlessly with popular open-source platforms including Home Assistant, Zigbee2MQTT, J-Tec SERVER. The dongle supports Zigbee 3.0 and is compatible with a wide range of devices such as Philips Hue, Aqara, IKEA Tradfri, and SONOFF.

Extended Range and Stronger Signal

The included 3dBi external SMA antenna provides a range of up to 200 meters in open space. When optimized by angle and channel, the antenna gain can reach up to 4.5dBi for even stronger signal strength and wider coverage. The adjustable antenna can be rotated up to 180° to direct the signal toward your devices for more stable connectivity.

Flexible Firmware and Multi-Role Support

The Dongle Plus MG24 ships with EmberZNet (EZP) firmware by default, but you can easily flash different firmware using the SONOFF Dongle Flasher web tool or add-on. Switch between roles such as Zigbee Coordinator, Zigbee Router, OpenThread RCP, or MultiPAN RCP to suit your specific setup.

Built for Reliability

The dongle features a compact aluminium alloy housing that is pressure-resistant and corrosion-resistant, tested under 24-hour salt spray for durability. It comes with a 1‑meter USB extension cable that allows flexible placement away from your host device to minimize electromagnetic interference and improve signal stability.

The Dongle Plus MG24 is compatible with Windows, Linux, macOS, and Raspberry Pi OS—any operating system that supports USB serial drivers. Simply plug it in, install the appropriate driver, and start adding Zigbee devices through your preferred platform.
