The SONOFF SWV-ZFE Hydro ONE is a Zigbee smart water valve with a built-in flow meter for precise outdoor irrigation.

You can choose between watering by duration or by exact target volume, so you know exactly how much water reaches your garden each cycle.

Up to six independent schedules let you set irrigation on odd or even days, custom intervals between 1 and 30 days, or selected weekdays. The valve automatically skips watering when rain or severe weather is detected and adjusts watering duration and volume based on seasonal changes. A built-in safety timer stops the valve if the target volume is not reached within the expected time, preventing issues from low water pressure.

The Hydro ONE uses Zigbee 3.0 for smart home connectivity and also supports BLE proximity control, so you can operate it directly from your phone when you are near the valve, even without a gateway. For smart home users, it integrates with Home Assistant through ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT over MQTT. It also works with J-Tec Server via MQTT for professional irrigation management.

The valve has a brass water inlet for long term corrosion resistance and an IP55 weatherproof rating for outdoor use. Real time monitoring sends alerts for low battery, water shortage, leakage, and frost conditions. A child lock prevents accidental operation. Water usage data is stored and available for daily, monthly, and half yearly review, helping you track consumption and adjust your watering strategy.
