The device can report to multiple gateways simultaneously, offering maximum flexibility.

To view weather insights in the app, you will need a compatible gateway – such as the Shelly BLU Gateway, or any Shelly Plus, Pro, Gen3 or Gen4 device (excluding sensors).

The WS90 is designed to withstand the elements with an IPX5‑rated housing. A built‑in heater prevents ice and snow from forming on the housing, ensuring accurate wind and rain measurements even in snow and frost. Power is supplied by a solar panel with AA batteries as backup.

Custom Alerts and Automation

The weather station sends customised safety alerts and instant notifications when rain, wind or UV levels exceed safe limits. This data can be used to automate irrigation, optimise shading, protect plants, and improve home energy efficiency.
