The SANlight EVO 6-120 | Version 1.5 is not simply a longer version of a standard grow light—it is a completely new class of lighting solution. Developed to meet the growing demand for more powerful and efficient illumination for projects of all kinds, the EVO 6-120 delivers exceptional performance where it matters most.

Uncompromising Power in a Compact Housing

At the heart of the EVO 6-120 lies a formidable 400 W LED engine, delivering an impressive 1090 µmol/s PPF (Photosynthetic Photon Flux). This represents a significant leap in power density: the EVO 6-120 achieves this extraordinary output within the exact same housing length (1018 mm) as the EVO 5-120. The addition of the sixth light module transforms this fixture into a high-output variant for installations where photon output, hanging distance, and room climate must be meticulously planned together.

Version 1.5 – Refined Efficiency and Light Quality

The Version 1.5 upgrade introduces improved secondary optics crafted from PMMA, perfectly matched to the light source to direct photons precisely onto the plants. This sophisticated optical system ensures incredibly homogeneous illumination across the entire growing area while minimising photon transport losses and scattered light. The result is uniform PPFD distribution and optimised light utilisation—every watt translates into usable energy for your plants.

The broadband light spectrum extends beyond the conventional PAR range, offering a Far Red to Red ratio that positively influences photo-morphogenesis, ultimately enhancing both the quality and quantity of your harvest.

• Protective Secondary Optics: The closed, easy-to-clean optics shield the LED diodes from dust, moisture, sulphur, and chemical substances—preventing oxidation and guaranteeing consistent light output for many years.

• IP65 Protection Class: Fully protected against dust and jets of water, the EVO 6-120 is engineered for long-running installations in demanding greenhouse and indoor environments.

• Passive Cooling: An oversized heatsink ensures the coolest possible LED chip temperatures, positively affecting light output and service life—even when the fixture becomes contaminated.

• Wear-Free Dimming: Ready-to-dim with a 0-10 V interface, the EVO 6-120 is compatible with magnetic dimmers, Bluetooth dimmers, and external controllers via RJ12 or RJ45 adapter cables.

Space-Saving Design

The EVO series’ intelligent design allows ventilation systems and filters to be mounted between the lights, saving valuable centimetres of usable height—a critical advantage in both compact grow tents and large professional installations.

Introducing the EVO-Series, SANlight unveils groundbreaking technological advancements, marking “the peak of evolution”. Tailored for specific applications, each luminaire in the EVO-Series excels in performance, solidifying SANlight’s position as the premier brand for LED plant lighting.

Perfect light control with protective function

LED contamination significantly impacts light output more than chip aging. Uncovered LED luminaires experience substantial light loss in a short time. SANlight’s EVO-Series features advanced three-dimensional secondary optics, capturing over 95% of emitted photons and directing them effectively to plants. This minimizes light losses, including reflections off tent walls, and safeguards LEDs from contamination. Additionally, the material is easy to clean with a damp cloth, ensuring prolonged efficiency.

Passive cooling

SANlight continues to utilize the highly effective passive cooling aluminum heat sink, maximizing energy efficiency and lifespan. Passive cooling not only reduces error susceptibility, risk, and noise levels but also ensures optimal performance over time.

Best efficiencies and robust chip technology

By integrating the latest OSRAM  technology and Seoul Semiconductor’s patented WICOP technology, our modules achieve efficiencies exceeding 3µmol/s within a white broadband spectrum. Seoul’s mid-power LED chips are highly resilient and shielded from environmental factors, primarily due to the titanium oxide coating. This robust design ensures a realistic lifespan of over 90,000 hours (LM90).

Daisy chaining of the EVO-Series

The SANlight EVO Series offers different connection options, prompting us to deliberately exclude a power cord from each luminaire. This decision not only reduces unnecessary pollution but also conserves valuable resources. It provides you with the flexibility to create a customized plug-and-play system according to your requirements. For confined spaces, we recommend utilizing angled supply cables and extension cords. Rest assured, all connections with SANlight products boast IP65 certification, ensuring protection against dust and water jets, making them suitable for use in high humidity environments. The only exception is the power plug, as household socket tightness cannot be guaranteed.

Ready-to-dim

In 2021, SANlight introduced two new dimmer options for enhanced control: starting July 2021, the reliable Magnetic Dimmer will be compatible with the EVO-Series, followed by the app-controlled Bluetooth Dimmer available from August 2021.

SANlight Magnetic Dimmer: Ideal for smaller setups of up to approximately 10 luminaires, SANlight recommends this dimmer. Once connected to the luminaire, it enables dimming in 20% increments from 100% down to 40%. Additionally, users can activate a soft start (simulated sunrise) using the included magnetic key.

SANlight Bluetooth Dimmer (from August 2021): Specifically designed for larger installations, this Bluetooth Dimmer allows for easy setup and dimming of individual exposure groups, providing seamless control.

IP65

All connections made with SANlight products are IP65 certified. This means that your SANlight System is protected against dust and water jets.
